Such a great Christmas present when I checked for the weekly Bleach update. Shinji's SHIKAI. Finally. *swoon* On Christmas day.

As predicted. It's cool. I was a bit worried in case Shinji got a lame shikai, but I'm not disappointed at all. And as I suspected, as he'd stated right when he first showed up, he's an expert in reversing things.
I'm not gonna post the whole chapter, but I had to make a journal of the fucking momentous (to me! XD ) occasion so here are snippets of my most favourite Bleach chapter to date (ch387!). Biased, moi?

First Aizen comments on Shinji's zanpakuto which Shinji has only just released and then Shinji's all 'yeah it fucking rocks. You can't have it, bitch.'
Sort of.

Then Aizen is all. Hmph, thought you said it would change my senses. Nothings changed. Blaah. Fail.
Shinji's all. What? Yeah it has changed moron. Then he goes:

And see his cute lil' nose wiggle? He's having a good sniff.
No, Aizen hasn't farted.

Shinji then does that thing where he goes from cute to creepy bastard. ♥

Then YAY! He does his upside down thing! I get really excited when he does his upside down thing!
This is the first time he's done his upside down thing since he creeped Ichigo out years ago by attacking him from behind then being all 'check out my hollow mask, oh and sorry dude but you've got a Hollow in you too lolz!'

And Aizen's all: Whut?

Shinji's zanpakuto is called Sakanade by the way.

Then Shinji's all 'awesome isn't it? Like fucking Tetris man! Woot!'
I like that he adds to Aizen 'not that you've ever played it, cuz you suck'
(I know he doesn't say that. But I bet he's thinking it. ^_^ )

Then he's all: ATTACK! Ha!
I'd like to pause here and bask in Shinji's hotness. I am aware that I'm probably the only person in the world who thinks Shinji is hot, but I don't care. Look at those teeth. The dodgy haircut. And that creepy smile. How can you not love him. ♥

Aizen then starts to work out Shinji's Zanpakuto's abilities.

Aizen turns and goes ha! Expecting you!

And Shinji's all: !!

He looks even hotter when he goes: !!

Then Aizen says something smug.

But then!

Slash! Shinji cuts Aizen and Aizen is all: !
This is very significant in the world of Bleach because right up until that moment no one has managed to cut Aizen. (In the Pendulum arc Urahara landed a hit and cut off Aizen's badge but didn't hurt him.)

Aizen is a God-like villain and Shinji cut him. SEE HOW BADASS SHINJI IS?

So then its Shinji's turn to gloat while Aizen goes all *pensive¡no way!pensive* :-

Then Shinj's all awesome and upside down again! And getting gloatier as they have a habit of doing in Bleach during battles (which is like 90% of Bleach).

Then Shinji yells! ...

And I'm all: God, Shinji is so damn sexy and I collapse into a gooey fangurly mess and have to remind myself he's just a drawing:

BUT! Oh noes! Aizen moves! Shinji misses! What? No! What? NO!

And Aizen lands a hit! And then naturally begins to gloat (as they do in Bleach) about how he can control all five senses and that Shinj's power is nothing compared to his own.
But I'm not listening cuz: omg noes! Blood is spurting out of my gorgeous Shinji's back and I'm all waaaaaaaahh!

*clutches head, drops to knees, stares up into the sky and howls in anguish* NOOOOOOOOOOO!

Aizen then gloats some more (as they do in Bleach) and calls Sakanade's ability no more than a childs game.
But whats this from Shinji? Why I do believe that that is a "Fuck You" look. Shinji Is displaying a very determined fuck you look so he's not down for the count yet! YES!

But then it cuts to Tousen's death scene. Boooooooooooooo!
We get some heartfelt words from lovely Captain Komamura and Tousen asks to see Hisagi but then suddenly. Tousen explodes in a torrent of blood!

We weren't expecting that.

Then suddenly Ichigo shows up behind Aizen, but who cares. Then it ends.

And since I'm here there was a colour cover. It had all the Karakura gang on it, but I cropped most of them out (apart from sexy Renji) so you wouldn't get distracted so y'all can see how omg gorgous and cute Orihime is in this pic! She's so lovely.
